Faseeh is a seasoned tourism and commercial lawyer with over 12 years of private practice experience, including 9 years full-time private practice, and 13 years at Ministry of Tourism where he developed extensive expertise in the Maldivian hotel industry’s regulatory framework. As Senior Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Tourism, he played a pivotal role in tourism legislation, policy development, and tourism lease regulation, shaping the modern legal landscape of the Maldives. 


Faseeh has a proven track record in handling complex legal transactions in the hospitality industry, including hotel and resort sales, acquisitions, and banking & financing deals. Notably, he led the first-ever involuntary resort foreclosure sale in the Maldives. 


In private practice, he continue to advise international and local hotel clients on tourism-related investments and banking finance offering solution-oriented legal guidance and delivering practical solution to complex legal issues. 


His leadership roles include serving as Chairman of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and as a Board Director at MIRA, contributing his expertise on taxation and compliance.
