Siman is a seasoned finance lawyer with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, specialising in corporate, commercial, and public finance law. 


During his time at the Attorney General’s Office he advised the government on high-profile matters such as tourism regulation, public finance, and international arbitration, and litigated several landmark cases. At Attorney General's Office's Legislative Drafting Division, he drafted key legislations and amendments to several laws. 


Siman continues to serve as a legal consultant to the Ministry of Finance, focusing on public finance and debt management, while collaborating with international organisations like the World Bank, IMF, and ADB on economic stability matters. Since transitioning to private practice, he has advised clients on commercial law, corporate governance, and foreign investments, with a particular focus on state-owned enterprises and investment funds. 


He also serves as the Honorary Legal Advisor to the British High Commissioner to the Maldives.
