Saadhin has a strong litigation background, having represented the Government of the Maldives as a State Attorney of the Attorney General’s Office since 2021. Specializing in contract, tort, employment, and judicial review matters, he has successfully advocated for the State in lower courts, tribunals, and at the High Court of the Maldives.
Additionally, he is currently seconded to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Maldives to the United Nations and occupies the role of Legal Expert to the sixth committee (legal) where he is engaged in international negotiations.
Saadhin consults for leading Maldivian law firms, providing comprehensive drafting services. He has prepared legal opinions for foreign counsel, pre-action demand notices, and legal submissions on behalf of private clients, demonstrating his proficiency in both litigation support and strategic case preparation.
Saadhin also brings a well-rounded knowledge of Maldives tourism and banking laws, making him a valuable resource for clients navigating these regulated sectors.
